San Diego Thornmint (Acanthomintha ilicifolia) is an endangered species found in clay soils in San Diego County, California. The plant’s habitat is threatened by urban and agricultural encroachment. This work seeks to bring awareness and immortality to the Thornmint.
San Diego Thornmint was juried into The Art of Mosaic, at 2nd City Council Art Gallery, Long Beach, CA. The exhibit is from June 27 - August 5, 2009
