The White Lady’s Slipper is rare, threatened or endangered in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Wisconsin, due to habitat decline. It is believed extirpated from Pennsylvania, where it was originally “discovered”.
